You're invited to my Q+A with David Pocock

220 RSVPs already and filling fast. Ask the Independent Senator anything at the Hawthorn Arts Centre later this month.

The last Federal election saw more Independents elected to Parliament than ever before.

One of those Independents was former Wallabies captain Senator David Pocock. As one of a handful of crucial votes on the Senate crossbench, Senator Pocock has shown – with dignity and grace – how Independents can change the country.

Seeing my Independent colleagues work hard every day reinforces my faith in a new way of doing politics – and its potential to break the gridlock on the most important issues facing the country.

I’m thrilled to announce that Senator Pocock is coming to Kooyong for a special Town Hall in which we will discuss our experiences in Parliament and the power of Independents, including our work to improve transparency and integrity in politics. There’ll be ample time for your questions too.

Amid a cost-of-living crisis, climate crisis and housing crisis, our children and grandchildren face an uncertain future. To give the next generation a chance at the sort of life we have enjoyed, we need to do politics differently.

Do come along to the Hawthorn Arts Centre later this month if you’d like to see politics done differently; politics for our community, not for a political party.

With over 220 RSVPs for the event already, spots are filling fast.

There will be a livestream available too — RSVP via the link above to access it on the day.

All the best,

P.S. We’ve added 20 more Pop-Up Offices over the coming months. If you want to ask any questions about the issues that matter most to you, click here to find your nearest one.
