We are a smart country. By embracing renewable energy and the potential for us to benefit from our natural resources, we can create a strong, diversified and clean economy. We can create the jobs of the future, and reduce energy bills. My priorities are to:
- Support investment in Australian research and development, especially into renewable energy sources and industry
- Position Australia to harness the massive job and investment opportunities from decarbonisation
- End taxpayer subsidies to fossil fuel industries
- Promote a strong sustainable recovery from COVID for small and medium businesses, universities, the media and the arts
