STATEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF DR MONIQUE RYAN

As I have addressed elsewhere, on Thursday 9 March, 2023 I was unavoidably absent from Parliament.


I was present in the House for the very first division (vote) that day and I voted as follows:

  • National Reconstruction Fund Corporation Bill – I voted in favour of this Bill being read a second time.

In relation to the subsequent divisions that day, I was fully prepared to vote, and I would have voted as follows:

  • National Reconstruction Fund Corporation Bill – Amendment to the Bill moved by Mr Bandt. I would have voted in favour of this Amendment.

  • National Reconstruction Fund Corporation Bill – Amendment to the Bill moved by Dr Scamps. I would have voted in favour of this Amendment.

  • Migration (Visa Pre-Application Process) Charge Bill 2023. I would have voted in favour of this Bill.

  • Migration Amendment (Australia’s Engagement In The Pacific And Other Measures) Bill — Amendment to the Bill moved by Mr Tehan. I would have voted against this Amendment.

  • Migration Amendment (Australia’s Engagement in The Pacific And Other Measures) Bill. I would have voted in favour of this Bill.

  • Treasury Laws Amendment (2023 Measures No. 1) Bill 2023 – Amendment to the Bill proposed by Mr Taylor. I would have voted in favour of this Amendment.
