I welcome the Federal Government's new Fuel Efficiency Standard, a climate policy that many of my crossbench colleagues and I have advocated for since before the last election. Australians will save hundreds of dollars a year at the bowser as early as next year thanks to this change, and $1,000 per vehicle per year by 2028.
