Mon’s HQ is open for business!

What a week! With your help, we not only hit our $50k goal…we knocked it out of the park!

Thanks to our wonderful donors, we’ve raised enough money to turn the windows of two buildings into giant glass billboards! The great reveal – at Camberwell Junction and Glenferrie Rd – is next week, so stay tuned until then.

Our New HQ

Your generosity has enabled us to acquire campaign headquarters at 655 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn, at a prime location across from the train station.

Over the weekend, volunteers worked tirelessly – painting, cleaning, and getting everything ready for the big move.

Join us for our official office warming from 10 am to 12 noon next Saturday 19 February. Space is limited, so register ASAP. Looking forward to seeing you there.

It’s a Sign!

By popular demand, we are ordering large signs for your front yards!

As Josh Frydenberg’s signs begin to appear around the electorate, many supporters have asked us for larger ‘real estate’ size signs to show their support for Monique!

Your interest has encouraged us to set an audacious goal to put up 150 large signs in Kooyong.

Show Mon your support, front and centre – put up a sign at your home or business. Let us know if you’re in!

Yes! I’d like a large sign (2.4 x 1.2 metres)

Yes! I’d like a regular sign (corflute)

Wrap those Cars

We are going to get really creative with car wraps!

If you regularly drive around Kooyong, you can volunteer to have your car wrapped in our campaign signage. It’s a bold way to get Monique seen around town.

We’d like to wrap 10 cars in total.

If you are interested in having your car wrapped, please contact us.

To fund the cost of 10 car wraps and 150 large signs, we need to raise $75,000.

Can you please help Monique raise $75,000 to fund car wraps and large signs?

Remember, every donation helps us reach Kooyong residents, listen to their concerns, and let them know they have a real alternative to the two major parties.

Thanks for all your support. Please, keep it coming!

Note from Mon

On a personal note, I have been enjoying getting out on the streets of Kooyong; the mood is excited, energised and enthused for change. Unfortunately, like so many others, I’m now in iso for a week, but I will continue to meet policy experts and community members via Zoom, during my recovery.

I am constantly in awe of the teachers, first responders, medical personnel, aged care and child care workers keeping everything going while we all continue to struggle with this pandemic. Thank you to all the people who keep us safe and provide care in these difficult times.

In these final weeks of parliamentary sittings before the election, it has been inspiring to see the important work of Independents MPs in Canberra. Just this week Rebekha Sharkie has forced the government to amend the Religious Discrimination bill, and Rex Patrick has blocked an unnecessary and punitive attack on proxy advisors, who provide important independent advice to major institutional investors and superannuation funds. Independent MPs have a vital role in holding our major parties to account.

With your help, later this year I'll go to Canberra to represent Kooyong as an Independent MP. In the meantime, I look forward to getting back out on the streets of our community and meeting you all soon.

Stay well and thanks to you all for your support and encouragement.
