I'm thrilled to announce my next Town Hall will be a Q+A with Senator Jacqui Lambie!
Senator Lambie knows how to hold the major parties to account.
Born and raised on Tasmania's rugged Northwest Coast, she entered Parliament after a career in the Army. The Senator has now been in Parliament for ten years, in which time she has built a reputation for being a straight-talking politician not shy to tell the major parties how she's feeling.
At a time when more and more people are looking to vote for Independents and minor parties, Senator Lambie brings a fresh perspective and style to Canberra.
I may not agree with her on everything, but having seen her work up close and personal I can say that she holds the parties to account with devastating effectiveness.
Book your seat and join us at 2:30pm on Sunday 11 August at Hawthorn Arts Centre for a conversation about the power of the crossbench, Senator Lambie's battle against the major parties, and much more.
As always, there will be plenty of time for questions.
