The major parties have just legislated to shut out political competition in this country for a generation.
In 2022, Kooyong showed the country that a different path was possible. Communities could stand together and show that major parties could not take ‘safe’ seats for granted any longer. But the fix is in, and with these changes being presumably a fait accompli the time to fight back is now.
